Lifeview has been recognised as a finalist in four categories at this year's prestigious Future of Ageing Awards.
Now in their seventh year, the awards shine a spotlight on the innovation and dedication driving the aged care sector forward.
Lifeview is in the running for:
Winners will be announced at a gala event to be held in Sydney in November.

You will recall we wrote to you back in June regarding Australia's aged care system changing. From November 1 this year, the new Aged Care Act will take effect, introducing stronger protections for older people, improved support for carers and families, and clearer standards for aged care providers.
Lifeview has been proactive in preparing for the upcoming changes to ensure that we are continuing to deliver the best quality care in line with the new requirements.
Pleasingly, many of the changes align strongly with Lifeview's long-held core values regarding person-centred care, resident autonomy and choice, connectedness and engagement.
We are committed to keeping you updated and will continue to provide timely information. If you have any questions, please reach out to letushelp@lifeview.com.au

Our award-winning Planting with a Purpose program continues to thrive, with residents enjoying their gardening activities alongside Lifeview gardeners and chefs.
Residents were recently invited to provide suggestions for items they would like to see grown in coming months.
The magic of Planting with a Purpose is that it is all about residents choosing the produce they enjoy eating in collaboration with the chefs and gardening team. The produce is planted, grown, harvested, and then lovingly prepared by the chefs and kitchen staff before being served in Lifeview homes.
Worm farms have been set up at all Lifeview homes with interested residents taking the lead to maintain them. As a result, residents and staff will be bottling a new product Worm Wee with Purpose, liquid gold that provides a natural boost for your garden!
If you wish to purchase some of the Worm Wee with Purpose please email marketing@lifeview.com.au

Our new Family Onboarding Information Sessions provide specific, valuable information for the families of new residents living at Lifeview.
The sessions are designed to support families through their loved one’s transition into aged care, answering your questions and outlining what we call “the Lifeview difference”.
The sessions are hosted by our dedicated and knowledgeable Resident Advocate, Gill Hynes.
Attendees will walk away with lots more information, not just about Lifeview but the aged care system more broadly.
Gill is always happy to answer questions and provide assistance to families and residents.
If you have questions related to the onboarding information sessions, or would like to attend one, please email letushelp@lifeview.com.au

It is hard to believe we're in October already! It means that the Positive Ageing Celebration (PAC) extravaganza is just around the corner (Wednesday October 15).
Our resident Christmas parties are also drawing closer! The dates for this year's parties are:
Invitations to families will be issued shortly. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to amacauley@lifeview.com.au

Back in August, Lifeview was thrilled to be announced the winner of the annual Ageing Australia Making A Difference Award, part of that organisation's You Are Ace! awards.
A representative from Ageing Australia visited the home on Aged Care Employee Day to surprise staff and residents with the announcement.
“This is wonderful recognition of the great work being done at Emerald Glades and throughout the wider Lifeview homes. We are extremely proud to receive this honour,” Lifeview CEO Samantha Jewell said.
