Why choose Lifeview

At Lifeview we do things a little differently – residents’ tell us what activities they like to participate in, they direct menu selections and they determine their care preferences.

All residents live harmoniously regardless of care levels or abilities, enabling each to thrive in other’s company, enriching the lives of all around them.

Lifeview cares for a high proportion of elders living with dementia within the general residential community, training all staff in best practice dementia care. All residents in all Lifeview homes are able to age-in-place, with our scope of care including high quality palliative care for those approaching the end of life.

Families are a big part of the Lifeview family and we encourage as much interactivity as possible, be it through events such as our family and friends Christmas parties, 95+ Celebration, weekly visits, or via communication technologies such as Skype or Facetime.

Lifeview understands the human-animal bond and that is why all our homes are pet friendly.  Residents can bring their pet to live with them at Lifeview.

Living the Possibilities

At Lifeview we make laughter and fun a priority. Our Horizon Happenings social support program is diverse and inclusive, and caters for all interests. Any chance to socialise and keep active, we live it. It’s all about being an example of excellence in innovation and inclusive care, by providing exceptional service while creating treasured moments.

As a part of our person-centred approach it’s important that we understand what matters to residents as individuals. Lifeview’s 5 Ways to Make My Day initiative is about making each residents day in a simple way that is special and unique to them.

And whilst the little things make each residents day, it’s the big Magic Moments that make their year. Magic Moments highlight a very special part of the Lifeview difference in social support.

Living our Hospitality

Come dine with us

Our delicious menus change seasonally based on information gathered from our resident food appreciation groups and through surveys. Our chefs create tasty, freshly prepared meals each day on-site and cater for special dietary requirements and personal preferences.

Lifeview is committed to providing a nutritious, relaxed, resident driven dining experience.

Themed days such as Valentine’s Day and Melbourne Cup have their own unique three-course menu. There are special occasion High Teas, Happy Hours and our extremely popular Parma and Pot lunches. Breakfast is a hotel-style continental buffet served over a leisurely two-hour period, with a hot cooked breakfast on offer once per week.

Our Friendly Staff

Every staff member at Lifeview is carefully selected, not just to make sure they’re suitably qualified for the role, but to also ensure they’re the right cultural fit in meeting our L.I.F.E Principles.

Lifeview staff attend regular conferences and seminars to keep abreast of industry developments and advances in aged care. Our people are your people. They’re committed to making sure residents live life to the fullest and all it has to offer through a high standard of care and personal service. That’s the Lifeview difference.

Innovative Living

We are committed to caring for the environment. We’ve introduced a clinical and care management software program to help us achieve our aim of a paper free office. So that’s less time on paperwork and more time caring.

Staying Connected

Staying connected is important not only to the residents but also to families of residents, this is why Lifeview offers Wi-Fi in all our homes, as well as access to devices such as i-Pads.

Each room is fitted with a flat screen television and connected to Foxtel, so residents never miss their favourite shows or sporting events.

Our View: Lifeview is trusted, respected, consumer focused, inclusive and innovative
