Lifeview believes the human-animal bond needs to be protected. That is why we are proud to offer pet-friendly residential aged care in all our homes.

We encourage residents to move in with their beloved pet.

“Allowing pets to move into aged care with their owners makes the transition easier,” Lifeview CEO Samantha Jewell says.

“You should not have to give up the relationship you have with your pet.”

Lifeview partners with Companion Animal Network Australia (CANA) to encourage all aged care providers to adopt pet-friendly policies so that more people going into aged care can maintain the important connection with their pet.

We find it astonishing that only about 18 per cent of aged care homes in Australia allow pets to live onsite.

In addition to encouraging residents to move in with their pet, Lifeview encourages staff to bring their pet to work – in the homes or the corporate office – to engage with residents and other staff.
