Another Memorable Men's Health Week

Lifeview recently celebrated another memorable Men’s Health Week with an action-packed activity schedule for resident gentlemen.

Residents from all Lifeview homes teed it up at the golf driving range to begin the week.

The outing included lunch and a crack at the practice putting green.

Fishing lines were dropped into the lake the following day as residents tried their luck at reeling in rainbow trout.

Everyone caught a fish, and Lifeview’s chefs were on hand to top the day off by preparing the freshest and tastiest fish and chips.

The week was capped at The Watering Hole, Lifeview’s very own pop-up pub hosted at Willow Wood.

Cold tap Carlton Draught was flowing, a pub lunch was served, and the highlight of the afternoon was a cracking pub quiz that saw The Chelsea Boys from Argyle Court take home top honours.

The pub event transforms the Willow Wood café into a fully functioning pub for the day, and it's fast becoming one of the most anticipated events of the year.

Elsewhere during the week, residents got competitive in a basketball tournament and put their hands to work building remote control cars from scratch.

Men's Health Week is an important event in Lifeview’s calendar with a broad and significant focus encompassing physical health alongside men's mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Through the series of events, promotions and shared experiences, the week is designed to spark conversations about what it takes to improve male health outcomes.

At Lifeview, all activities were led by male staff, adding an extra layer of connection to the week.
