That’s Lifeview – a podcast about life, laughter and living well in aged care

Lifeview has embraced the world of podcasts with the launch of That’s Lifeview.

The new podcast offers a candid, cheeky and refreshingly honest look at life inside aged care – told by the people who know it best: the residents who live there.

Designed for both video and audio platforms, That’s Lifeview brings audiences inside Lifeview homes to hear directly from residents – their backstories, life lessons, advice for younger generations, and plenty of cheeky hot takes along the way.

“That’s Lifeview isn’t an ‘aged care’ podcast in the traditional sense,” says host, Lifeview Executive Manager – Marketing and Communications, Cody Winnell.

“It’s a podcast set in aged care – but really, it’s about people. Their stories, their experiences, and their take on life.

“It’s authentic, unfiltered, and unpredictable. And that’s the point. The residents are the stars of the show.”

Episode one features Willow Wood residents Sue, Paul and Lynne, sharing stories spanning careers, love, life goals, getting tipped out of a kayak on the Murray, and even how to get the most out of a parsnip.

“Think less corporate, polished ‘aged care’ messaging, and more real people and real conversations with residents living in aged care,” Winnell said.

That’s Lifeview episode one is available on Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts, and the video version can be viewed on YouTube.

New episodes will be released throughout the year.
