Dees roll out red carpet for long-time AFL fans Lorraine and Ken

A visit to Melbourne Football Club training turned into a Dees VIP experience of a lifetime for Lifeview Willow Wood residents Lorraine and Ken.

The AFL club pulled out all stops to ensure the long-time Dees fans had the time of their lives.

The residents enjoyed a VIP tour of the facilities before heading on to the field to rub shoulders with their footy idols.

The players took time to chat with Ken and Lorraine, who shared stories of their decades-long passion for the club.

In a touching moment, a round of applause from the entire Demons squad lit up the Lifeview residents.

Ken, a former footy umpire, was in his element as he watched the next generation of stars in action.

Once seated in a prime front-row position to watch the session, Ken offered the players praise and insight.

Lorraine, a dedicated lifelong member of the Dees’ cheer squad, relished every moment, reminiscing about her years supporting the club.
