Emerald Glades resident Ron Duncan turned 87 yesterday and celebrated with a mailbag full of birthday greetings and chocolates.
Prior to living at Emerald Glades, Ron had a lengthy career working at the post office, and Social Support Coordinator Marc wanted to surprise Ron for his birthday with a Magic Moment.
Marc spread the word around the Lifeview community, and the response was overwhelming.
Cards were received from fellow residents and staff throughout Lifeview and others who wanted send birthday wishes.
A self-professed “chocaholic”, Ron was also inundated with sweet treats as part of the Magic Moment.
Magic Moments are a Lifeview initiative aimed at providing residents a special experience to make their day.
