Food forms an important part of each day at Lifeview.  Residents love to try new cuisines as much as they love the old favourites.  They also love to grow fresh produce for our creative chefs to turn into amazing meals - it is a partnership that rewards all involved.

With four homes in the south-eastern suburbs, we pride ourselves on not only the care of the residents but also the award-winning lifestyle programs we deliver - it’s all about overall quality of life. Lifeview is Rainbow Tick accredited.

Our vision is upheld by implementing our four L.I.F.E. Principles: Laugh, Integrity, Focus and Engage, which create a culture of encouraging social interaction and enjoyment within a warm and caring environment.

We are looking for an experienced Chef, who is passionate about creating great food, to join our hospitality team. You will work four days per week, including some weekends, at any of our four homes - you must be willing and able to travel between the homes.

Your shifts will be filled with rewarding moments as you enhance the lives of residents. Your “can do” attitude and willingness to commit to our L.I.F.E principles will ensure success in this role.

To be considered for this role, you must hold the necessary qualifications, commercial cookery and current up to date food handlers certificates, a current police check, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (3 doses), together with the experience to lead a dynamic team to deliver beautifully presented and nutritional meals to residents.

You will also ideally:

  • Have aged care experience
  • Have an understanding of dietary requirements and texture modified meals
  • Cert 4 in Commercial Cookery (essential)
  • Experience in a busy kitchen environment

Then you can enjoy benefits such as:

  • State of the Art Staff Wellness program
  • Reward and recognition program
  • Education and training
  • Career opportunities
