Peacefully situated in the lush surrounds of the Dandenong Ranges, Emerald Glades offers a relaxing haven for those seeking ageing-in-place care.

Located a short distance from Emerald town centre’s charming teashops and boutiques, and with attractions such as Puffing Billy and Emerald Lake on our doorstep, Emerald Glades is at the heart of this vibrant community.

Emerald Glades has a warm, cosy and inviting appeal. Residents, staff and visitors take pride in the home and delight in the scenic views. A large outdoor area features a water fountain and gazebo. Residents can sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air over a cuppa whilst admiring priceless views. We have an on-site hairdressing salon, Men’s Shed and several reading nooks throughout the home.

Home Features

Rooms are light and spacious, and residents are encouraged to add personal touches with mementos, photos or furnishings. Emerald Glades' rooms are single, comfortable and feature en suite bathrooms, built in wardrobes with a lockable cupboard, ceiling fan and hydronic heating. Registered Nurses are onsite around the clock. We have an approachable, experienced manager, dedicated team of personal carers and nurses, physiotherapist onsite and an energetic social support team, who together care for residents’ needs.

Broaden your horizons

Emerald Glades has a friendly, homely vibe with plenty of activities on offer through Lifeview’s Horizon Happenings program. The monthly Horizon Happenings calendar provides a variety of daily activities and exercises so there is something happening for everyone to help live the possibilities.

Themed events like Jazz and Shiraz, and special days such as St. Patrick's and ANZAC Day are specially celebrated at Emerald Glades. Any reason to have a party, get dressed up, decorate and have fun, we’re living it.

The residents get out and about, with weekly bus outings.  Keeping up community connections and discovering new possibilities is a big focus at Lifeview. That’s why we have our own Lifeview bus to chauffeur residents to local happenings.

At Lifeview we are all about “How Can We Help You”? Our goal is to make living at Emerald Glades as comfortable and entertaining as possible for residents. That’s why we have implemented the 5 Ways to Make My Day and Magic Moments initiatives. The 5 Ways to Make My Day program is all about the small, but important things to each resident. These are individual and personal, helping us to care and laugh daily to make each resident’s day. 

Magic Moments are just that. They are moments that are truly magic to our residents. At least once a year, it is our privilege to help make a wish come true. Residents look forward to this moment and talk about it for years to come. Resident’s family and friends are invited to come live this Magic Moment with us.

Professional services

Visiting professional services include dentists, podiatrists, hairdressers, beauticians, dietitians, a choice of doctors and ministers of religion. The local newsagency provides a newspaper and magazine delivery service.

Emerald Glades has an informal, intimate atmosphere where families are very involved with day-to-day life. We promote interaction, friendship and laughter, and strive to provide a comfortable lifestyle for all residents.

Respite stays are welcome.
