Argyle Court

Nestled in the bayside suburb of Chelsea just moments from the award-winning Bicentennial Park is our 45-bed ageing-in-place home, Argyle Court.

Located close to leafy bushland, walking tracks and the Edithvale-Seaford wetlands, Chelsea is known for its prolific birdlife. There is a small shopping centre nearby on Thames Promenade and a shopping precinct in Chelsea.

Argyle Court is a friendly, homely establishment where residents, staff and visitors mingle, form friendships and enjoy close ties with the local community. We have private, secure outdoor courtyard areas where residents can sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air. Residents can also enjoy chatting in the living room or reading a book from the library in the coffee lounge. Argyle Court's Garden of Life features raised garden beds, a golf putting green, a children's play area, walking track and sensory garden.

Home Features

All rooms are light and spacious, and residents are encouraged to add personal touches with mementos, photos or furnishings. Rooms are single, comfortable and feature an en suite bathroom, built in wardrobe with a lockable cupboard, ceiling fan and hydronic heating. Registered Nurses are onsite around the clock. We have a fun-loving, approachable manager, dedicated team of housemates, onsite physiotherapist and energetic social support staff to care for residents’ needs.

Argyle Court features Lifeview's award winning Home2Home (H2H) small house model of care. H2H is a relationship-based model, where multi-skilled staff (housemates), work with the same group of residents, all the time.  H2H enables staff to spend more meaningful time within their household, creating better continuity of care and building on already established relationships.

We understand the human / animal bond and that's why residents can also bring their pet to live with them, making the transition to care just that little bit easier.

Broaden your horizons

Argyle Court has a friendly, homely vibe with plenty of activities on offer through Lifeview’s Horizon Happenings program. The monthly Horizon Happenings calendar provides a variety of daily activities and exercises so there is something happening for everyone to help live the possibilities.

Themed events like cheese and wine evenings, trivia night, and special days such as Valentine's and ANZAC Day are specially celebrated at Argyle Court. Any reason to have a party, get dressed up, decorate and have fun, we’re living it.

The residents get out and about, with weekly bus outings. Keeping up community connections is a big focus at Lifeview. That’s why we have our own Lifeview bus to chauffeur residents to local events and outings.

At Lifeview we are all about “How Can We Help You”? Our goal is to make living at Argyle Court as comfortable and entertaining as possible for residents. That’s why we have implemented the 5 Ways to Make My Day and Magic Moments initiatives. The 5 Ways to Make My Day program is all about the small, but important things to each resident. These are individual and personal, helping us to care and laugh daily to make each resident’s day. 

Magic Moments are just that. They are moments that are truly magic to our residents. At least once a year, it is our privilege to help make a wish come true. Residents look forward to this moment and talk about it for years to come. Resident’s family and friends are invited to come live this Magic Moment with us.

Professional services

We arrange hairdressers, dietitians, allied health professionals, podiatrists and ministers of religion to visit residents in the comfort of their home. Kingston Library also provides a book lending service.

Argyle Court is a friendly, comfortable home with a fantastic community spirit and plenty of family appeal.

Respite stays are welcome.
