    We are passionate about aged care and we’re looking for a like-minded team member to help achieve excellence in care. We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and proactive Residential Manager to join our team. We pride ourselves on our friendly team environment which allows our residents to feel right at home.

    Lifeview Argyle Court is located in the suburb of Chelsea a 45-bed aged care residence. Argyle Court is a friendly, homely establishment where residents, staff and visitors mingle, form friendships and enjoy close ties with the local community.

    The Person:

    To be considered for the above role, you will ideally be an outgoing leader with strong financial and business acumen, be driven by results and outcomes, have a positive outlook and be prepared to work as part of a dynamic team in striving for excellence. Your “can do” attitude and willingness to commit to our L.I.F.E principles will ensure success in this role. You will be well supported in this role by the Senior Management Team.

    • A minimum of four years of work experience in a similar position
    • Be a Registered Nurse currently registered in Australia (APHRA) without any notation as mandatory
    • Be passionate about aged care
    • Experience in managing a residential village or aged care residence
    • A working knowledge of the small house model of care
    • Current knowledge around best practice in Dementia care
    • Ability to develop, mentor, and lead a diverse team
    • Ability to manage rosters
    • Work with staff in our residence to deliver an exceptional level of care
    • A team player who enjoys having FUN at work (not be afraid to dress up!)
    • Sound understanding of clinical governance and maximizing MANAD will be highly regarded
    • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder relationship building skills
    • Ability to use computer software in the delivery of care services
    • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and accreditation standards
    • Demonstrated experience in achieving and maintaining  full accreditation
    • Have used PCS/MANAD or a similar electronic care system will be highly regarded but not mandatory
    • Hold a current driver’s license
    • Clinical knowledge and experience is desirable but not essential
