We are seeking passionate Personal Care Assistants to work at our, Rainbow Tick accredited aged care home in Wheelers Hill.

Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will be working closely with your team to build collaborative relationships and prioritise tasks.  You will demonstrate superior customer service ability and excellent verbal, and written communication skills.  A can-do attitude will ensure your success in any of these roles. 

Lifeview provides a more relaxed and homely environment for residents through our relationship based model of care – Home2Home.  Home2Home enables residents to choose how they would like to live their life, and ensures they are involved in decision making, including what is on the menu, what activities are on offer and other areas of their life that matter to them. This model of care is a collaboration with residents and their families, and requires multi-skilled staff who are agile and willing to do things differently.

You must be prepared to:

  • Commit to an orientation program and any other training requirements as required by the position
  • Work across other Lifeview locations should the need arise - Emerald and / or Chelsea
  • Be flexible to work a range of shifts as dictated by the roster

We are looking for people with carer experience who are passionate about improving the quality of life of residents and can help them to enjoy every day of their life. 

You will be:

  • Qualified with a Cert III in Individual Support
  • Ability to engage with residents and have a compassionate attitude
  • A team player who enjoys having FUN at work
  • Passionate about aged care
  • Display exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
  • Open minded
  • Outcomes driven
  • Please note: You must be vaccinated x 3 against COVID-19 to work in aged care
