An award-winning, Rainbow Tick-accredited, aged care provider, Lifeview operates four homes in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.

We pride ourselves on the overall quality of care provided to Lifeview residents, including delivery of a contemporary, creative and inspiring lifestyle program.

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and passionate Lifestyle Coordinator at Lifeview Argyle Court in Chelsea to work Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm, with some flexibility in hours.

Reporting to the Residential Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, dedicated and proactive Lifestyle/Social Support Coordinator to join our team, to get creative, have fun and make a hugely positive difference.  You are only limited by your imagination!

Lifestyle/Social Support Coordinator:

  • Qualifications in Lifestyle and Leisure
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering and evaluating recreational and rehabilitative programs for the aged
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write clear and precise English appropriate to residents’ needs
  • Mature outlook with the ability to relate to and speak with older people
  • Good team player
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent networking and engaging skills within the wider community
  • Ability to work within the culture of Lifeview
  • Passionate about aged care
  • Level 2 First Aid Qualification
  • Hold a current driver’s license
  • Other specialised qualifications in areas such as dementia best practice, music or the arts will be highly regarded
  • Experience with electronic documentation systems will be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages
