Award-winning Victorian aged care provider Lifeview is looking for a proactive, forward-thinking Clinical Care Manager, who can provide clinical leadership and support to our home in Cranbourne and ensure guidance in the provision of advanced clinical and person-centred care of residents aligned with our contemporary practices.

Lifeview is a Victorian provider of residential aged care, operating four homes with a total of 284 beds in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.

Lifeview Willow Wood is a modern, spacious residence in Cranbourne, home to 119 residents.

This position will also be responsible for ensuring the direct care needs of residents are met through effective resources management, monitoring and managing clinical governance, promoting principles of best practice and assistance in driving continuous improvement activities, developing and implementing innovative processes to promote a systematic approach to care in the home.

 The successful applicant will be:

• A Registered Nurse currently registered in Australia (APHRA) without any notation
• Provide clinical leadership and act as a positive role model and resource for all staff at the residence
• Responsible for management of and accountability for clinical care provisions
• A confident team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for leading clinical outcomes
• Assist Residential Manager in coaching and mentoring staff.
• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in an Aged Care in Australia
• Postgraduate qualifications in gerontology, Dementia Care, Palliative Care or Wound Management or relevant discipline would be highly regarded but is not mandatory
• Focused on improving quality of life of our residents
• Sound understanding of ANACC
• Sound clinical decision-making skills
• Sound understanding of relevant legislation and experience in meeting Australian Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards
• Highly organised with proven ability to appropriately prioritise tasks in a busy environment
• Excellent computer skills and ability to use computer software in the delivery of care services
• Hold a current Victorian driver’s license
